MPR Eligibility Checker
MPR Eligibility Checker
Answer two quick questions to get a general sense of whether Mandatory Packaging Reporting applies to your business.
What is MPR? Mandatory Packaging Reporting has been in effect since July 2020 under the Resource Sustainability Act. Companies with annual turnover above S$10 million that import, manufacture, or sell packaged goods in Singapore must submit annual packaging data and a 3R plan to NEA by 31 March each year.
Missing the deadline can mean fines of up to S$10,000 for a first offence, and up to S$20,000 for subsequent offences.
This tool gives a general indication only, based on the standard MPR turnover threshold, and isn't a substitute for professional or legal advice. Eligibility can depend on other factors NEA assesses case by case. Always confirm your specific obligations directly with NEA, or get in touch with us at makeit@theinterchange.cc if you'd like help thinking it through.
