WE BUILD THE LOOP.
Waste is a design flaw. We fix it. The Interchange is a circular economy lab in Singapore. We research materials, design for disassembly, and fabricate products that prove a better system is already possible.
THE INTERCHANGE PROTOCOL
-
RESEARCH
Objective: Material Innovation.
Data: We analyse waste streams and test material properties to find value where others see trash. We don't guess; we test. Every material we use has earned its place. -
DESIGN
Objective: Open Accessibility.
Data: We create replicable blueprints and circular systems designed for disassembly. Our solutions are made to be shared, not hidden; because the loop only works if others can build it too. -
FABRICATION
Objective: Local Production.
Data: We run a fully equipped workshop where we prototype, build, and manufacture. From recycled plastics to reclaimed timber, we turn research into real, physical goods.
NOT JUST A SHOP. A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE.
The linear economy ("take-make-waste") is a design flaw. At The Interchange, we are rewriting the code. Every product you buy from our shop funds our research. Every workshop you attend supports our community outreach. We are proving that a sustainable future isn't just possible, it's capable of being built, right here, right now.
