Meet the Artisan.

Every Upcycled POLYMR.CO x Sōng Hè Rice Bag Shoe Bag is designed and made by Camille, our artisan and product designer at The Interchange. Each bag requires focused handwork, cutting, aligning, lining, zipping, and finishing, with no shortcuts.

The shoe bag went through multiple rounds of research and development to get the construction right, how the nylon lining sits, how the zipper runs cleanly along the opening, and how the canvas strap holds weight without pulling. 

This is not a bag that was designed in five minutes and outsourced to a factory. It was made here, by hand, by someone who cares about getting it right.

Why do we make this:
The Interchange collects rice bags from Sōng Hè and our community to keep them out of the waste stream. Every bag you buy directly supports our circular economy work in Singapore.
