The Green Plan pillar focused on integrating nature into the built environment, for example tree planting and park connectivity.

In practice

Under this pillar, Singapore is targeting over 130 hectares of new parks and enhancements to about 170 hectares of existing parks by 2026, on the way to planting 1 million more trees and ensuring every household is within a 10-minute walk of a park by 2030.
